MENGEMBANGKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Abstract


Moral crisis that struck many countries these days not only occur among non-educated, but also struck the educated. Many of cases and phenomenon the moral decline of the nation's children in various countries is presented in print or electronic media show the failure of education in the making of the next generation. Instill the religious character of learning to be one solution to the problem of moral decline of the nation. The essence of religious character education is how to instill religious values or habits of good things in the learning material to be applied in everyday life. So far, only limited understanding of the cognitive learning course, yet provide a valuable learning. Similarly, the study of mathematics, mathematics for this role was limited to students' understanding of the concept of mathematical calculations and thinking concept. To develop the religious character in mathematics, first we have to reveal the meaning of symbols in mathematics. This study aimed to describe some of the models in learning mathematics that can build religious character of students.
