PENGEMBANGAN LKPD DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA

Hani Ervina Pansa

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective LKPD in terms of students' mathematical communication skills. The population of this study is all students of class X SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017. The development of LKPD follows Brog & Gall's five steps: preliminary study, LKPD preparation, LKPD validation, initial field trials, and field tests. Data collection techniques in this study are expert validation, students' responses and tests of mathematical communication skills. The result of the research shows that LKPD with Problem Based Learning model has fulfilled the requirement and feasibility standard based on expert material and media assessment. The results show that LKPD developed to improve students' mathematical communication ability is seen from KKM achievement and mathematical communication ability test. Based on the results of the study, LKPD with the Problem Based Learning model developed meet the criteria valid, practical, and effective to improve the ability of mathematical communication.
