PEMBELAJARAN REALISTIC MATHEMATIC EDUCATION TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF

Abstract


The ability to think of creative thinking is needed in this life. Competition in the world of work becomes more intense. Meanwhile, the cooperation and flexibility in the face of the work is still needed. That condition is the World Challenge at a Time Education requirement for the teacher to review Facing Future Generations. Educators need to open his awareness that education is not simply pass on the material, but to build creative abilities. The development of creative thinking abilities necessary done because creative thinking is one of the desired capabilities in the world of work. Creative thinking ability also affects the superiority of a nation. The competitive power of a nation is determined by the creativity of human resources. Learning mathematics needs to be designed properly in order to potentially develop creative thinking skills in students. One of the learning of mathematics that can be applied to develop the ability to think creatively is realistic mathematics education (RME). Realistic Mathematics Education or RME is oriented learning to everyday life experiences. Therefore, this article will discuss about realistic mathematics learning, and its relationship to the development of students' creativity.
