Abstract

The learning process cannot be separated from the use of learning media. Provision of media and educational methodologies that are dynamic, conducive, are indispensable for the development of the potential of students. The unclear material presented can be helped by presenting the media. This study aims to produce media in the form of E-Module to determine its quality by validating it by material experts and media experts who involve grade VIII students of SMP N 3 Bandar Lampung. The high-level thinking concept of students has not been maximally developed so that one of the media that can be used is the E-Module learning media based on the kvisoft flipbook maker on Relationships and Functions material to empower higher-order thinking. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model. The results of the phase 1 validation carried out by material experts obtained a value of 2.70 with the criteria of "interesting" so it is necessary to revise the module. In the second validation stage, a score of 3.52 was obtained with the criteria "very attractive" so that there was no revision to the module. The results of the phase 1 validation carried out by media experts obtained a score of 2.75 with the criteria of "interesting", which means that a module revision is necessary. In the second validation stage, a score of 3.55 was obtained with the criteria "very attractive" so there was no need to revise the module again. In a small-scale trial followed by 10 students obtained an average score of 3.40 with the criteria "very interesting". In a large-scale field trial that was attended by 29 students, the average score of attractiveness was 3.45 with the criteria of "very interesting" so that the module was said to be valid and ready to be used as teaching material.
